Notes:
All six courses may be taken above the 200-level. Only one German course taught in English (GERM 280, 290, 398, or 580) may count towards the minor.
Students majoring in Business are encouraged to enroll in GERM 316 and GERM 416.
A maximum of six hours of GERM 333, Summer Study Abroad, may apply to the German minor.
Transfer credit from study in the exchange programs with Bamberg and Wittenberg may be included in the German minor.
Students who begin their German minor with knowledge of German and who are placed in the 300-level or higher may petition for credit-by-examination (for a maximum of 6 credits). The student who wants to become proficient in communication skills would, most likely, take the GERM 310, 311, 411, 510 sequence.
